12th International Economic Congress “ECONOMY AND POLITICS OF THE EURASIAN SPACE: PRESENT AND FUTURE” was held

Сongress Goals


- analysis and forecasting of changes in the global civilizational dynamics of the states of the modern Eurasian space for the foreseeable future;
- consideration of scenarios for sustainable development of the states of the Eurasian space: best practices;
- development, analysis and assessment of the security situation, problems of threshold values of economic security of states of the modern Eurasian space;
- practical development of mechanisms for the formation of development institutions in all spheres of public life of the states of the modern Eurasian space;
- formation of a development strategy for enterprises and organizations. universities and business schools, chambers of commerce and industry, professional associations, state and municipal authorities, expert and think tanks, states of the modern Eurasian space by combining their investment and innovation potential, forming cooperative interaction within the business community.
Congress Tasks

- development of organizational and management mechanisms and business models for the functioning and development of the economic system of the Eurasian space in modern realities;
- forecasting the development of economic-regional systems of the states of the Eurasian space, taking into account geopolitical and geo-economic scenarios for the foreseeable period;
- modern strategic analysis and forecasting of challenges, risks and threats to the development and security of the states of the Eurasian space, modeling the threshold values of their economic security;
- analysis of contradictions and search for ways of joint growth through the generation of joint projects and programs of states of the modern Eurasian space in the economy, innovation and investment spheres;
- nationally oriented business education as a resource for the development of the economic model of the states of the modern Eurasian space.
More than 180 people took part in the work of the 12 IEC, representing political circles, the business and scientific elite, the expert community of the EU countries, Turkey, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Russia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, master's students from the member countries of the 12 IEC.

During the work of 12 IECs, the following issues were discussed:
Geopolitical and geoeconomic forecasting of scenarios for sustainable development of states in the modern Eurasian space.
Sustainable development of the states of the Eurasian space: best practices. Sustainable development and national security. Analysis and modeling of threshold values for the economic security of states in the modern Eurasian space.
Eurasian dialogue: from the crisis of ideas to real projects and programs of the states of the modern Eurasian space.
Strategies for the development of business education as the most important resource in the economic model of the states of the modern Eurasian space.

Within the framework of the congress, presentations of projects and development programs of the countries of the modern Eurasian space, presentations of the business landscapes of the countries participating in the congress were held.

Faruk AKTAY, Member of the Competition Commission TUSIAD, Aktay Hukuk Burosu - “Economic prospects for Turkey within Eurasia.”
As part of the work of the 12th IEC, special attention was paid to the mechanisms for the formation of development institutions in all spheres of public life of states of Eurasian orientation, the formation of innovative processes in the Eurasian space, and the commitment to multi-vector economic development as a defining tool of the economic model in modern conditions was emphasized.

During the congress, the heads of sections and thematic blocks were heard, the forms and methods of business interaction between the states of the Eurasian space were determined, as well as the place and role of national communities in the development of economic systems in the Eurasian space in modern conditions.
As a result of the work, Resolution 12 IEC “ECONOMY AND POLITICS OF THE EURASIAN SPACE: PRESENT AND FUTURE” was adopted, which noted that the Congress proceeds from the fact that at the heart of the global strategic objectives of the economic-regional systems of the Eurasian space is a system for strengthening the sustainability of the functioning of the member states of 12 IEC, inextricably linked with respect for their economic and political interests, the choice of the vector of their development

As a result of the Congress, cooperation agreements and plans for interaction were signed with the definition of practical mechanisms for their implementation between the Development Institutes of the countries participating in the Congress.
